The Holy Trinity

Understanding the Trinity

Perhaps you have heard that the Christian God is 3 in 1. But how?

One common explanation is this:

I (Yadier) am a son. One day, I may become a father, then a grandfather—if I get there.

All of these roles happen through time. Time is essential. Time is universal yet relative for us as humans. However, time is not relative for God and spiritual beings.

God: The Eternal Creator

God is an eternal celestial being. He is not bound or limited by His creation.

Think of a construction worker who builds a house—the house is bound to the earth, but the builder is not. Or like a video game creator—they can create a game filled with tricks, secrets, and Easter eggs, but they are not bound by the game itself because they know everything.

Jesus, the Son

Jesus is the incarnated being who came for the sole purpose of fulfilling the Holy Scriptures:

  • The Torah
  • The 10 Commandments
  • The Bible

His mission was to bring back the eternal life that was given to Adam and Eve but lost due to sin. Now, life is accessible only through Jesus.

John 13:31

“Now the Son of Man is glorified, and God is glorified in Him. If God is glorified in Him, God will glorify the Son in Himself, and will glorify Him at once.”

This means that:

  • Jesus is the

    perfect vessel

    for God to dwell in.

  • Jesus

    does God’s will

    , which means

    Jesus is God

    .

  • God is

    in Jesus

    , and Jesus promised to

send the Holy Spirit once He was gone

    .

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is literally the essence of Jesus in spirit form. A spirit can dwell in anything that lives.

However, the Holy Spirit is different because it is:

  • Perfect
  • Immaculate
  • Separated from impurity

In order to live pure, one must be separated and saved from all impurities— just as Jesus did throughout His life and taught others to do.

The Holy Spirit dwells in those who are willing to welcome it.

How Do You Welcome the Holy Spirit?

By repenting and realizing that sin leads to death, then choosing to step away from sin.

Acts 2:38

“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”

The Trinity as One Entity

With all this being said:

  • God

    is the

    Supreme Celestial Entity

    .

  • Jesus

    is the

    Incarnate Version of God (Physically)

    .

  • The Holy Spirit

    is the

    Spirit Version of Jesus

    .

Conclusion

Together, they form one unified entity—The Holy Trinity.

Genesis 3:22

“And the Lord God said, ‘The man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.’”

This reveals the concept of the Trinity long before it fully served its purpose.
